As my husband and I approach our one-year anniversary of living in our new home, our relationship with Derek Davies continues to carry on and remains special and incredibly meaningful. But let me dig into our experience working with Derek and his team. Like many, we were aware of the horror stories about renovation projects, so we embarked on this project a bit weary with eyes wide open. At that time, Derek and our wonderful architect Sid Majumdar and his team at Wyota Workshop created a plan that embraced our vision succinctly. Derek and his team were at the property every day. There was work being done every day. He answered all our calls, emails and general concerns in a timely manner. He was always calm and professional and had our best interests at heart. He wanted to execute everything we envisioned as close to budget as possible. Ha! Well, that is if you, the client doesn't change things along the way. 😊 Our experience was exciting, exhausting and to this day, so rewarding. Today, we remain friends. He continues to be responsive in every way, and for that we are so grateful. We love our home and everything Derek and team did to make it as special as it is.”

“We recently finished renovations for our new house that we moved into, and Derek was our contractor for all of the work. From beginning to end Derek did an AMAZING job leading the entire project. He is very easy to communicate with, follows through on timelines, understands the ins and outs of everything you throw at him, and no matter what idea you may have to improve your home, he's going to figure out a way to make it happen. On top of that, he has great taste, so you can trust that he'll do a quality job and make it look beautiful. Months after the project finished, he checked back in just to make sure our new roof held up well through the rainstorms. He's a gem of a human being, great energy, a family man, sharp and thoughtful and efficient.
